ART CAMP Ocean Diorama

Learn the ins and outs of making a diorama. In this Art Camp we will be focusing on detail, craftsmanship and creativity! We will be creating an ocean diorama that will focus not only on what's under water but also the surface.

-May 13: We will go over the syllabus, create our story line and draw out in detail our plans for the diorama then Begin sculpting our ocean creatures. Paint our shadow box adding all our 2D elements to the surface and underwater creating dimension.

-May 20: We will be focusing on construction of the ocean floor and create plants rocks and coral that will be added to the foreground of the diorama And finally carefully painting our animals.

-May 27: We will be mounting all creatures to make it seem as if they are swimming or flying and add the illusion of a water divider between the surface and underwater.

-May 31: ART CAMP SHOW invite your friends and family to enjoy all the artwork over a slice of pizza from our neighbors at The Oven Pizza Parlor!

All materials are included! Ages 6 and up.

Drop off OK! You can make up any day you miss on Wednesdays & Thursdays 4pm-9pm.
